What would you pay for an uncracked dash?

I am looking at getting a couple of cracked dashboards recovered, either in original looking vinyl or leather. This is all linked in to the 924 Cab project. How-ever, it MAY be possible to get a more reasonable price if there were several to do.

Since I haven't talked money yet, I haven't a clue what they will cost. First price I found was £700. At that price, I have a cover, and I will live with that... how-ever, I would prefer an original looking non-cracked dash... How much would I pay? Mmm probably £150-200 maybe more if it ends up being the last thing letting the car down... at the moment, as I have many other priorities, probably more like £50-75.

So... may I ask, what would you pay?

This isn't a commercial venture, btw, I am not soliciting for work!
 
I had a chap quote me £200 to cover mine in vinyl and £300 in leather. At that price I wasn't too bothered, if we could get it done for 50-75 I would be interested. Already got a new dash which is less cracked than mine out of the car.
 
Tref, When I worked in the Middle East, a favourite covering for dash tops was a very nice shag pile. Looked crap but did stop the dash from cracking due to the temperature. Perhaps some matching furry dice to complete the look?[:D]
