Changing my wheel for the Momo......can't see using anything else in a N-GT....So with such providence as used by "Carreraboy".....must be priceless......[;)]

Worth keeping really Des - another 5 years & N/GT's with original steering wheel - rarer than rocking horse droppings!

Tony

If it were a lightweight totally agree and I know it is the original wheel....but really surplus now.....sure when the car hits 200,000 Euro in five years I might regret getting chipped 5,000 Euro by P M[;)], as I not going to sell well........

Also definately keeping everything else in particular fire extinguishers, which I unbolted Day ! and are part of the original FiA compliance, however they are out and stored, they (two big bottles) are very heavy.....but will replace with a slimmer single fire extinguisher, any other Cup/Clubsport owners done this?

Des if you get wheel, I will fit it for you, but you will have to bring it down to me. And NO i'm not fitting it the night before spa either!! DONT sell the old one keep it.

Des I will give you a £100.00 for it if it is undamaged. I bought my Momo RS wheel (factory option) from Thomas about 5 years ago.
Seriously Des, don,t sell it!

Jeff

I simply kept the single fire extinguisher that was original in a Cup Car. At least the 90 Cup Cars had just one red bottle.

And now for you, Des: A fire extinguisher is a FEUERLÖSCHER ! [:D] [;)]

BTW: Keep every little thing that originally belonged to the car, also the steering wheel! Sometimes you have to trust the GERRRMAN advice.

If you look at the price level of 911s in general at the Techno Classica Essen, incredible. Prices have exploded. And prices for original cars with fully reported history, matching numbers and every piece as it should be have exploded the nuclear way. So, in a few years.....

Have fun,

Hacki

Suppose the Cup Car would have a smaller fire....the N-GT would just be explosive so needs
der FLUERHERRFIRESTOPPENDIVICENNNENDOUBLENENEN[:D]

Seriously interesting about prices they are exploding for the rare Leichtbau RS, can see the 64RS making 2.7RS money in time and N-GT Wagen just going Super Nova, keep those cars guys[:D]

Keeping my wheel by the why, will mount it above the Headboard[;)]

just for Hacki a late intercepted memo from Herr non-Water Rollbar....to his accountant in the cycle shop....

"meinen grossen weiner der 64RS leichtbau ich der bluchippen investen"

I shall be keeping the wheel now, following much advice on this thread, it makes sense for only £100, plus the wheel has several bite marks[;)] Who knows but in 300 years time when my car is in the Porsche museum as their greatest car of all time, some anorak will point out that the factory delivery wheel was the standard RS wheel and not my Momo......[:D]

Jeff/Steve

I have a mint 964 RS steering wheel for sale if you are interested. Not quite the same provenance as Des's but it doesn't have any bite marks and is immaculate. Mail me through my profile if interested. I also have a few other 964 RS items if interested.

Regards
