After lusting after a 993 Targa for years i recently bought a 1996 Tipronic Targa in Zenith blue 58,000 miles, FOPSH, superb condition inside and out, after buying the car i took it straight to my local specialist for an inspection and service and was pleased to hear he could find no faults with it other than the famous cracking noise of the drivers check strap, so i promply parted with another £1000.00 pounds for a twelve thousand mile service and discs and pads all round, worth doing as i thought these would be my wheels for some time to come. Unfortunately i really miss the driver involvement i had in my manual 3.2 carrera and as daft as i know its sounds i want to sell my Tiptronic and buy a manual, i know what i paid for the car ( from a independant dealer ) what i am not so sure about is what its actually worth via a private sale bearing in mind i would like a quick sale, any opinions would be gratefully received. By the way if you read my previous posting regarding a " Leaky Targa " this was fixed via 2 x opc roof seals @ £ 160.00 each. If anyone is interested in buying a nice Targa she will be at Walton Hall on July 17th. I thought around £ 28,000 ?
