What's missing here?

I can't work out what should go in the screw hole in the picture

944S2, looking down the back of the head - just next to the bolt for the reference sensor.

I can't see anything obvious that would fit in here. Just along from this is a stud where I've fixed an earth wire. The black cable you can see in the pic is the reference sensor cable.

There was obviously something fitted before - although this engine was in another car, so maybe I don't need to worry.
 
I think it is the home for a P-clip for the loom to run down to the starter motor.
 
That's a bit lower down to the right, below the reference sensor

I was wondering about some sort of wiring clip, but I can't see any wires I'd want to secure in that area
 
Brilliant - thanks tref. I have that earth lead attached to the back of the head on the bracket holding the clutch line.
