Can some one give me an indication of what I would get for my 60 plate 997 Turbo S Cabriolet.
She is white with full black leather
Black centre lock alloys with polished rim
1 previous owner
Only 5.9k miles
PTS
White centre PCM surround
Sports steering wheel
Full service history with Porsche warranty till July 2016
Mint condition
Lives in garage with cover on..

Also does anyone know how many 997 turbo S cabriolets were sold?

Considering selling...

Thank

Si

Seems low, only 1 for sale on Porsche Network and that's a 62 plate with 25k miles, they want
£95k for that...

You've seriously only covered 5,900 miles in 4+ years?! Thats just around 100 miles a month. Mine is the same car, same age and has done 10 times your mileage [:D] and I've never got tired of it. Still looks better than new. Maybe you should just hire a car when you want to go out and save enough money to buy a yacht or something? Hope it works out.

If its sold to a dealer he will want about £10K which brings it down considerably from the £95K.

I sold my 11 plate car nearly 2 years ago for £86K.

Alan's price is probably about where an OPC would want to be however you have got mileage on your side why don't you ring your OPC and ask them against something they have thats around £100k

I love the car, just don't get time to use it.... Will probably keep it. I am obsessed with cleaning it
So she is immaculate.... Not quite ready for the yacht yet..

Cheers

Si

Sterlings specialise in low mileage cars and the guy that runs the company is a gent. Try giving Mark a call and asking him. He will need to sell it SOR to pass on the warranty. A car like that will be a hassle to sell privately. Another alternative would be 911 Virgin. They sold my 997 4S on an SOR basis to preserve the warranty - I reckon I got about 2k less than a private sale and they got about 3k more. They sold it in 48 hours.

Unfortunately age becomes the driver on value with low mileage cars and OPC retails can not be used as a measure as they are a good 10% higher than normal.

The trade retail on your car is probably £79995 as there are a number of low mileage 2011 and 2012 cars available in the £85-£90,000 range, so privately your looking £75 to maybe £77,000.

There's one on PH the same age with higher miles, but not high miles, for £77k from memory. As Gordon says age is more important than miles unless it has a particularly high mileage. And although the cab is rarer than the coupe it's not everyone's cuppa! But as you're keeping it, it's all a bit academic[;)]

I have Seen that using a car fairy rarely does much came to price its age that does, the 997 turbo will only go south for a few years yet, it's just the a dealer will always want about £10 k so really £75 k this year £60k next year .
