I run a 1987 3.2. On the lower right hand side of the fan, just below the oil pressure sender, I have what looks like a further sender unit with a single lime green wire running from it. This wire is then routed along with the pressure sender wire.
I've never given it much thought and assumed it was standard, but I've recently noticed on other 3.2s the wire is not present. All appear to have what I guess is a sender though.
Daft question I know, but it's got under my skin now: can anybody tell me what it is, and why I've got one and some don't?
