... an enthusiast and an anorak?

Before you ask, i haven't got the answer! Just wondered what people's views were on the subject. Obviously got too much time on my hands!

In the context of this Forum I would say:

Anorak: Voyeur Polishing Pencil Gazer

Enthusiast: Oily, Overalls, Race Suit

[:D]

Spot on Des!

Enthusiasts come to PCF Days.

Anoraks just read about them and keep car polished in garage!

This is easy, the clue is in each title...

Enthusiast: Enthusiastic! Likes [whatever it is] , aspires to it, enjoys it, admires it. Doesn't know everything about it - has a life! [8D]

Anorak: is of course an acronym for: Annoying Nutter Overly Retentive of Anal Knowledge. Likely to know what colour underpants the previous three owners of your car were wearing every day they owned it, just from your V.I.N. number! [8|]

What is the difference?
...well Dennis Neilson was an enthusiast however Peter Sutciffe was an anorak!!![:(]
