Whats the worst you could do?

If mileage is genuine and it has been looked after as well as the advert says, then it might be worth a punt on the basis that the vinyl wrap can be removed. It has the 16" turbo rims which are getting pretty rare these days.

Mileage genuine haha seriously now. when have you seen that kind of interior wear on a sub 150k 944?

Crumbs, you actually read the advert rather than just being scared by (or falling in love with!) the pictures!

£50 ball joints - yes, if it has early steel wishbones, where the ball joints can be unbolted and replacement (beetle items, I think) bolted on. But for an oval-dash car, I'd be very surprised if it didn't have the alloy wishbones which cost a damn sight more than that ...

Caveat emptor etc.

Oli.

It may be an early offset car with the shorter alloy arms (it does say its running 46mm spacers) in which case you can swap the arms for steel ones with new ball joints and have change from £40 a side.

Ahh, ok. I didn't realise there was a transition period. I assumed that when the oval dash was launched, all of them had the 'longer' alloy arms.

I still wouldn't buy the car though!

Could be a laugh to take to Le Mans, the wrap would have to go after that though.

Judging by the crusty rear arches I'd say the sills wouldn't be great on that one.

ORIGINAL: A9XXC

I'd have a look if I was looking!

The vinyl would be the first casualty!

But only after parking it outside someone's embassy for a couple of days
