What's this noise?

Can anyone tell me what the cause of this noise is? It's like a high-pitched whine that definitely comes from the ventilation system panel in the facia, after car's been running for about 15-20 mins. Increasing the speed of the ventilation fan or turning it to zero (off) stops the noise. It's not always there, which would seem to rule out the blower motors?

Even better...how do I fix it?!

I had this on mine and it was the fans hitting the surround of the pollen filters. Take the filters out and see if the noise stops - if it does then cut the pollen filters down a bit with a sharp knife and re-fit.

Might be the blower motor bearing getting toward end of useful life. The heater fan motor in my old RAV does same. The noise only starts when it has been on same speed for some time. Any change of fan speed fixes it for a while.
