Whats this under my seat?

Ok, so just picked up a 997 3.6 c2 after 8 years of Boxster ownership, naturally I'm all over it like a rash. So, I'm looking under the passengers seat and spot something odd. Firstly, a large blue sock with.....yes you've guessed it, a white powder in it. Now on inspection I dont think its Heroine or Crack, looks a bit like calcium carbonate. Underneath that was a black bag with tiny beads in it, the label says 100% polipropileno, any ideas, I'm thinking drying agent, but what for?

My first thought from seeing the pics was one of those bags that absorbs moisture, and is then "recharged" in the microwave. polipropileno I think is spanish for polypropylene, used for packaging.

therefore sorry, I don't actually know!

i would just bin it, oh, and don't put the white powder in your mouth! ??

As as an added bonus your car will be even faster as its now lighter ??

mmm, some good suggestions, I was thinking drying agent in storage but odour eater sounds good also, whats puzzling is there are two such packages each with a different compound, and one is home made, must have been a bad smell [:)]

Child sick. Do rear seats have marks associated with child seats? Smokers car? Cigarette burns on carpet? Calcium carbonate is a common odour eliminator in domestic fridges. The bag is possibly stuff used by undertakers to soak up smells.

Who the hell cares? Chuck both in your neighbours bin and run for it :D

Even better idea... package up both and send to an unknown address with a return to sender address for STiG911 :) Then alert 'er Majesty's finest and grab a digital video recorder for the arrest :)

like your thinking JCX, but non of those, what about takeing sock with white stuff in to Plod, second thoughts might get car impounded.
