Just acquired this '83 944. it has been off the road since 1989. Originally Guards red, it seems to has been converted to a convertible and painted gold as a bare shell. Since then it has then acquired an S2 front end (no sign of crash damage behind the blue panels) I have the gold doors off it, don't know why they were swapped. It's all half finished, soft top is mint, it has most of an S2/Turbo linen cloth interior including big bolster front seats plus the original interior minus front seats. The dash is crack free and the sills, wing bottoms etc are rust free.
Now, it looks like one of the Bieber conversions, but I can't say for sure. The inner sills are reinforced, the screen frame has reinforcement plates at dash level. The boot lid is aluminium, there are various GRP and welded cappings closing off the cut and modified areas. Perhaps there is someone on here who has one who could look at the the pic and maybe help identify it. I can take more if required. Any help appreciated.Thanks.
