Wheel alignment in the Wiltshire area??

Mitcheldever Tyres did mine. Link to Web Site below.

They know what they are doing. They corrected my front geometry which was miles out and provide print outs to confirm. My rear was spot on so no need to alter this. Mine was the third 911 of the day !!

Thanks John.... I'm in the Swindon area so Winchester is a little out of range but will definitely bare it in mind and get a price from them.

Are there any other reccomendations in the Swindon Bristol or Reading area?

Cheers,

Al

Try giving Steve Bull (Porsche Specialists) a call on 01380725444. He is based in Devizes and I think he uses a company based in Swindon for alignment.

I Second that. Steve did my four wheel alignment after I had new Bilstein HDs fitted a year ago and new rear suspension bushes (toe links I think they're called). He took it somewhere to be done, but the price was good, and the quality is always A1 with Steve.

Yes. I spoke with Steve and he advised to use Imperial Tyres in Swindon. They have the same Porsche equipment as the OPC's and charge a lot less. I've been quoted £100 +VAT and will be taking my new C2S in this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Cheers,

Al

Gordon - good to see you got home again - [;)]

Nice to meet you and Family and Turbo the other day

All the best

Mark

Hey all.... Yep the wheel alignment at Imperial Tyres in Swindon was fine. Good report out of changes made and she's driving great!

They had 7 Porsches in for wheel alignment on Friday, so they do a few. I asked if most of them were from Steve Bull and they said no and that most Porsche's that they do are from Dick Lovett (the Swindon OPC)!!

So by using an OPC you pay an extra £500 to have a guy drive your car to an industrial estate 4 miles away!

Cheers,

Al

Mind you the coffee's nice - but £500 for a cup of coffee and some comfy seats ? It's also further away for me than Steve.

You can see why I use Steve - he worked at Lovetts for 15 years - during the time when the 993 was the current model.

Got mine finally done last month at Imperial in Swindon, initially it made some difference but after a few hundred miles to rebed the tyres(is that a proper word) its transformed the handling, so add me to the list of people who have said 'its the best investment you can make in your car'
