Hi All
I have just had a 4 wheel alignment performed on my 1988 3.2 Carrera by a Porsche specialist, after having turbo tie rods and Neatrix rear spring plate bushes fitted and lowering it slightly to about 24.75in in the front and 24.25in in the rear. I have also fitted an ERP bump steer kit to the turbo tie rods.
The specs are as follows :
FRONT
Camber L= -0,21' R= -0,24'
Caster L= +6,39' R= +6,12'
Toe L= +0,07' R= +0,07'
REAR
Camber L= -0,38' R= -0,38'
Toe L= +0,13' R= +0,13'
These are apparently set to Porsche standard settings. Does the camber seem a little too conservative even for road use?
I had my last alignment done after replacing my shocks a couple of years ago, and that specialist set the car up with toe in on both front and rear, rather than the toe out I currently have. What differences should this make?
I would be interested to see what settings other people have done on their 3.2s for road use.
Thanks
Anil
