Wheel Arch Liner

Can anybody tell me if the early 944 (square dash) were fitted with front wheel arch liners ?

Thanks
Andy

Thanks guys, surely I must have something missing as during wet weather muck/grit is flicked up and collects on the front bumper where wing/badge panel meet (both sides). Can't believe that Porsche would miss such a design fault.
I have obtained a pair of liners and shall attempt a retro fit during Xmas hols

Does this on 924s too when it’s really filthy roads like recently - before the era of wheel arch liners, no design fault [;)]
Good luck with your ‘retrofitting’...

^^^^ Wot Paul Sed.

Early Mk1 Golfs were much the same; things thrown up from the front wheel was sprayed into the front wing, across the back of the headlight, into all the joints and panel gaps and they rotted like glory. Only later on did they start fitting liners to the wheel well. I can believe that early 944's were much the same.

Oli.
