wheel bolt torques?

I have 17inch genuine cup2s, and some nice new ally wheel nuts to suit, (incl lockers).

What torque should I tighten these to? I know its not much and it's important to not overtorque them with the ally nuts.

Any help appreciated, cheers

The correct firgures are 128 NM / 94 LbsFt. Confirmed only because some later owners manuals contradict this, where they have incorrectly calculated the metric to imperial conversion.

The only thing to add..isn't that with Optimoly grease? My engineering background is pretty basic, but dry vs lubricated will make a lot of difference (oo, er, missus...)

It is, and it does make a difference. The incident I had on track when I broke one wheel nut and unwound another was on a wheel with dry threads. I noted that after greasing with Optimoly the wrench turned the nut round a lot more before hitting the correct torque. I assume therefore that without the grease the ali nut binds up on the steel stud giving 130 NM of torque long before the nut has tensioned the stud enough. Never had a problem since.

Alternative is to fit steel nuts like on the race cars.
