Hi guys I want to refurb my wheels and maybe paint them in an Old Gold sort of colour.

Is there anyone who can Photoshop the this pic to give me a better idea of the effect?

Thanks !

Mike, nice car but can't help think it would look best with original colour d90s on this occasion. Perhaps though because I am not sure which other colours would suit the car colour!

Thanks very much Phil. Does not look like I imagined!
Blame MarkK :)
Maybe will think again.
The wheels are called Gullidukels, they are forged and made by Fuchs and were fitted to 928s, but were also options on 87 and 88 944 Turbos. Which is where these came from. The fronts have a 928 part no the rears a 951 one.
I have the D90s on the 2.7 at present but I really like the Gullies and I weighed them at 3kg a corner less than the D90s and you can feel it.
Just need to get the right colour now.
Thanks guys :)

Corgi were more subtle and thats what I'm after, Mattel were always to American and brash!
I saw Marks red turbo with gold CS wheels well covered in brakedust and thought they'd look good just like that!
They have some heavy marking so will need to be painted, just what colour?.........

I've always liked the effect that VW achieved on the original Pirelli P-Slot wheel, whereby the indentations were painted black. It picked out the shape of the wheel well, and I'd have thought the same would look very good on a D90 or a Gullideckel.

Here's a picture of one, although it is polished on the face rather than painted metallic silver. Still, it shows the effect.
