Hi all, first post so please bear with me:
Treated myself for my 40th birthday to first Porsche, 2001 C4S Tiptronic. Was fully aware when I bought the car that all 4 alloys (turbo twist) were corroded and needed refurbing. I bought the car privately and it does have an OPC warranty which has now been transferred to me. I have done a search and read some previous posts on the subject, but 2 quick questions please?
1. Has anyone had any luck with Porsche having the wheels refurbed under warranty, not holding my breath here!
2. Plan B, was to have the rims powder-coated, any recommendations in either Lincolnshire or Greater Manchester. I can only take the rims in 2 at a time so will have to make 2 journeys, only 2 axle stands.
