wheel crests

Whilst I was at the Ace Cafe meeting on Monday someone has levered off one of the crests from the rear wheel of my C2S - I thought the glue might have gone and it had just fallen off but I've inspected the other rear one and that was part off with a nice bend in it where someone had a go at that one too.

I've had a look at wheel centres and none of them are the same as mine. The crests are gold metal with two holes in them; top right under the 'sc' of Porsche and bottom left in the last black stripe of the crest. there's a slight matt finish to it and the gold metal is visible in the centre of the holes. Porsche is Black as is the horse but Stuttgart is just in gold.

I actually only need one crest as I can re-glue the offside one back on... anyone any ideas?

Hindy - good luck with getting a replacement ... but more SERIOUSLY, this puts me off attending the ACE CAFE if thats the sort of crowd it attracts... Have you reported the matter to Kish Hirani or the Ace Cafe Mgt ...???

John, Really sorry to hear thatI know the crests you are talking about. I replaced mine recently and I think they are the same as yours will check and report back.

Andy.

Please drop me a private mail if you are 100% sure this could have not happened anywhere except while your car was in the Ace compound and I'll speak to the management.
We were pretty much out in the Ace Compound most of the time and the marshall was at the entrance throughout.

Where was your car parked? I cannot see anyone chancing this if it was right outside the glass doors or on the opposite side given it would have been in full view from us.

John,
Sorry to hear about the damage, that sort of thing really gets up my nose []

Have a look here > http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=517688 - ok, they're not original Porsche, but they certainly look the part on my car.

Regards,
