Wheel meet again! Sept 18th

Joel
I notice that you are based in Essex. New to Porsche ownership and I'm desperate to find a Porsche specialist nearby (I'm in Ingatestone). I don't really want to drive the car too far since the Engine/emission light has appeared and the car is feeling somewhat lumpy. Almost in a state of panic actually that it might be something serious!

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi Paula
OPC East London in Stratford will pick your car up from home. You could try calling them...
Good luck

Hi Paula,

Welcome to the forum. If you don't want to pay OPC prices then try Autostrasse at Coggeshall (phone 01376 562922). Say John Sims recommended them and wants a reduction on his next bill as a result. [;)]

Another recommendation for Autostrasse. Just had the 968 serviced and MOT'd there.

Zero hassle and good workmanship. Steve's chuffed with how much better the car feels.

Another vote for Autostrasse. I used them last year for a 24,000m service for my 993 and they were excellent and car is booked in again for this year. They are very popular so you do have to call in advance.

As an aside, is the region planning a convoy to the festival at all???? I am planning to go on the monday and will be leaving from Leigh on Sea.

We'll be going on Monday too but unfortunately due to weekend plans will be leaving from Sussex so we'll miss the Essex convoy (if one happens) [:-]

Mrs Carl and I went last year (St Marys that is) & given it's only a couple of quid to get in, it's a really good day out. We'll be there again this year.
