Bought a set of chrome plated covers for the ubiquitous rusty wheel nuts. I forgot of course that the locking wheel nuts are smaller and recessed deeper into the wheel.

Has anyone worked around this problem, or have any suggestions re locking nuts to match the the remainder?

There is always repaint the bolts, i did mine, i thought about the covers too and then realised what you have found out [;)]

Where did you get the covers from? would not mind some myself. I have taken my locking nuts off had a problem with them being so tight that could not get them off, kept breaking the nut.
