Wheel Nuts + LED lights

Does anyone have any idea if there are any alternatives to the crap wheel nuts on the Boxster. My car ( 06 ) are rusting to buggery [:(]

In addition, I like the idea of the 'Techart' Led lights that are advertised in PP. Their site is a nightmare, often the case with EU based sights, and I can't find the lights for the Boxster. Any ideas, UK supplier? [&:]

I have just repainted 2 of my horribly blistered wheels and they look great, 2 to go. Picture shows the finished wheel. The wheel nuts are bad though. I did think about painting them but it would just get knocked off when the were bolted up.

The best I have found is some wheel nut covers on eBay which have covers for the locking nut as well. Only chrome seems to be available which won't suit my Boxster. If anybody knows of some black ones with covers for the locking nuts as well please post.

i replaced mine with design tek bolts, a bit expensive but they look well with my black wheels, they are stainless steel[8D]

Remove one bolt at a time, light rub with emery paper, spray with silver wheel paint aerosol, leave dry for ten minutes and then refit. Takes a few hours to do all of them but its over 12 month since i did mine and they haven't deteriorated one bit.

Have you had a look at Design911.co.uk, as they have a number of upgrade light kits for my old 986, not sure about the 987, but their prices are good. They also do better quality wheel nuts.

+1

Definately the best option.
I've done this several times, it always looks great and lasts for ages. Get the paint from Halfords
