Looking for someone to do some sport classics off a boxster S at a decent price.

Newcastle area if possible.

Any recommendations?

Not Newcastle but North East. I always use Romax in Stockton, they're in Ross Road which is just of Portrack lane, they do all the work for Merc and BMW dealerships in Teesside I can recommend them

One of mates used romax and after a couple of year the lacquer came off. He only used soapy water when cleaning them. I have used them with no problems though.

surprised to hear that, I've used them for years ( to sort out kids and wife's scuffs and kerb rash )without any problems whatsoever.

I know a few people who have good things to say about The Wheel Specialist in Westerhope, Newcastle.

beats me why people spend a fortune on buying these cars and dont look after the wheels or use acid based cleaners that damage or weaken the alloy.. i use a cleaner from autoglym which is non acid based and my 4 year old wheels still look brand new.. i do wax them with rubbish boys wheel wax as well ... takes a couple of hours to do every 3 months but well worth it

because some people use their cars every day, don't have time to clean within an inch of their life and have split rims which all corrode and are frankly rubbish!!

so who did you use in teh end Jason ? My wife's BMW 18" rims look like they've been attacked with a grinder after many coming togethers with the local curbs []
