Where's the best place to have my mags refurbed and are they best powder coated or painted.

Mags?? Diamond styling near sevenoaks are probably the best, but not cheap...painted is the answer,,,special care required if they are the mags, foolhardy to try and get them done on the cheap.

I have a contact in Nottingham who did a brilliant job on my rears, and at a price considerably less than Diamond Styling. In fact they do lots of mags (usually motor bike wheels) so have plenty of experience i.e. you're not going to find you have a set of warped wheels afterwards or worse still a pile of dust i.e. mags will burn at a much lower temperature than alloy.

Let me know if you're interested.

I'd be interested Damen. Nottingham is a lot closer to me than Sevenoaks!!

Hi Dick

I had mine done at Autofarm but I think they sub it out to Diamond Styling.

Mine were £135 per rim for the refurb but that included them being straightened as they were buckled.

If I were you I would have them checked for this too, as they are quite prone to this happening.

Cheers

Simon -doesn't Adrian do this as a sideline????

Mel, I'm pretty sure he only does the Speedlines. My Mags have a bit of pitting that needs sorting too.

I thought you were on holiday? You're worse than me....

I am, British summer time...

In other words raining at the moment so enjoying quality time with family and wireless internet!

I had mine done at Pristine Wheels in Woburn Sands about 5 years ago. Drove the car there, left it for a week then picked it up. Job done. Nice finish, no problems so far. Think it was £500 all in, which included painting centre caps.

Would it be possible to let me have a number for your contact in Nottingham
