Wheel Refurbishment - 2006 Cayman S

Hi Group,

Need to get the front alloys on my Cayman S refurbished, can anyone recommend a refurb company local (Beds/MK) region that provide a great service?

Hi Ian - Try ‘Mint Alloys’ (https://www.mintalloys.com) in Silsoe, Beds, refurbished all my 993 hollow spokes last year, good price with good detail work. They are very close to Porsche independent I use on the same site in Wrest Park []

Thanks for the recommendation, i will give them a call. Take it you had to take them the wheels, not the car? Also thanks for the nod re Auto Umbau, I have been taking the Cayman to DW in Wellingborough who are great, just quite a trek each time.

At the time 993 was having service and other stuff at AU, so while this was done all 4 wheels were off anyway, usefully[]

Wheel refurb......Yup I had my Split Rim wheels refurbed at Mintalloys, at Wrest Park. Brilliant job too for Split Rims they had to remove tyres, weights etc, take them all apart and then rebuild at the end, refit tyres and balance all for under 370 quid. Well recommended and better than others i have used locally around Milton Keynes.
