Can anyone recommend a wheel refurbishment source in the Chiltern's area ? My 2 rear alloys have been kerbed by the previous owner and I would like to get them looking as new again [;)]

Many thanks,

Hi Ian,

Try contacting John Barnatt of Thames Valley region and the 924 Register. He had his wheels refurbed by a company local to me and was very pleased with them. I just can't remember the name....[&:]

Pristine Wheels are in Woburn Sands near Milton Keynes if that's any help. You won't find anyone better but they'll take a few days to do them.

fyi - the 964 Register has a visit to Pristine wheels on the morning of Monday 21st April - for a working factory tour (hence the Monday). I have a few placed just so if interested drop me a line. I reckon Pristine to be one of the top 3 in the UK - maybe the best as they repair as well as re-coat - I always have my wheels done there.

Cheaper than Prisine and a more personal service is http://www.wheelrefurbishing.com/index.htm they are based just outside of Flaunden not far from the Region meeting place. I had the wheels from my VW passat done by them with very good results. They were able to replicate the OEM silver sparkle paint finsih , so even the original wheel centres matched when refitted. As you would expect they also offer fitting and balancing of tyres plus the removal of your old tyres at attitional cost. If you are local enough then can even collect and deliver.
