wheel size will they fit

hi ive seen some wheels i like

would like to ask you guys if thay fit or some were i can get more info

ive got a 1988 lux

the wheels ive seen are 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear

any idea on tyre sizes
 
Hi you need to know the offset to be sure 52 I believe I have a set of the same size on a S2 tyres are rear 255 35 18 front 225 40 18 in FAQ section on wheels offsets etc

Yes,

So in the back the et11 would come out 12mm more than stock. Would they still fit though as the car is lowered quite a bit.
 
Hi i've just found a7 x 16 Fuchs alloy and the inside of the wheel reads ET 23.3 is that right? ie ET 23 ?

Car is an early off set 220 Turbo
 
That's what you want but most 16" Fuchs wheels wont fit over the cars brakes. That's why Porsche developed a special 951 part numbered wheel for the 944 Turbo. There is another wheel which has sufficient back-space, but its rare.

With regards to 18" wheels on a normally aspirated 1988 944: why? Big wheels on old cars look lame.
