Wheel size

I have a 944S2 and want to put some fuchs style wheels on the car, black centre with silver rims. The car currently has 17" cup 3 wheels off of a boxster on it.
Im pretty sure i can't afford genuine fuchs wheels so are looking at copies. Question is what size is best and what will fit? I see there are both 16" and 17" available and different widths. How wide can you fit?

Wheel offset is the key here - and most Fuchs have the wrong offset for an ABS model 944.

"best" is subjective - for driving pleasure I'd have thought lightest possible 16" with 7J front, 8J rear. For looks you could go up to 17" 8J F 9J R widths.

I think the only Reps that will fit properly are the Braid 17" ? with Offset numbers in the 50's, only the 16's
are only made for the early car's with ET23 offsets.

These would go on the wheel hubs but stick outboard by 29-32mm which may snag the arches? and will for sure change the handling (make it worst)

You could get some 16" D90's and have them painted and polished black / silver outer rim, or even get your 17's
done like this?

Thanks for the advice, its seems the wheels/look i like is the fuchs on the early cars with the smaller offset. I will stick with my wheels.
