Wheel Spacers/Offsets

Hi all,

After a bit of advice re offsets and spacers. I've just aquired a set of cups to replace the original design 90's for my C2. The front ones fit fine but the rear obviously need some form of spacers as they are rubbing on the inside. The offsets on the new wheels are 9Jx16ET70 and the old ones appear to be 8JX16ET55.

Anyone any idea what size spacers are required and i take it they are perfectly safe to fit.

Thanks

Kev

I think that the offset should be 55 front and rear. Check Adrian Streathers book for more information and to avoid possible problems.

Kev,

You will need 15mm spacers for the rear to bring the ET70 wheels back to an ET55 spacing, i.e. -70+15=-55.

Regards

Dave
