Hi everybody, hope your all having a lovely weekend!
Just a quick question, I have fitted some 10mm spacers to the front of my 996, now these spacers are flat, no lip, when I put the wheel up to the hub now I have lost the lip on my original hub, so my question is do I need the a lip or will the five bolts suffice, it’s seems fine just thought I’d check first, I have used 37mm bolts to cover the spacer and get 8 plus turns on the bolts when tightening! Also the spacers are 5x130 with no tolerance, 5 holes fit like a glove!
Is the weight of the car on the Lip or the Bolts or is the lip just to centre the wheel, my spacers are fine if the latter is the case.
Cheers
Paul
