Wheel Spacers

Hi All,

On the last visit to PARR, the technician advised that I am currently running with a difference in wheel spacers on the rear from left to right. It is only about a milimeter, however its something that needs addressing! After further discussion I was advised that the car as standard (1978 3.3 Turbo) shouldn't be running with any spacers on the rear.

I know the wheels are not the originals, although they are believed to be real Fuchs alloys. Can anyone help with what offsets the car should be running on the rear?

Regards
Stuart

Hi,

According to the PET all 3.3 turbos have a spacer at the back. The spacer has the same part number (930.331.611.04) in all the wheel combinations (8x15, 8x16, 9x16).
If you don't have a spacer the Fuchs wheels fail the caliper. From memory its a large spacer about 25 mm with a cutout to locate on the hub and a flange for the wheel to locate.

Thanks, I believe I have the correct front spacers which I am told are 21mm and the rears seem to have the same spacers plus a non porsche looking spacer (different on either side as previously mentioned).

I shall remove them and check each spacer myself next weekend!
