wheel spacers

hi there,,

have just got 2nd had set of 18" turbo wheels,, (replicas - mili-miglia) with dunlop track tyres,,,, front wheels are fine,, rears have an 11mm to small offset and will need spacers,,

you can buy 11mm spacers without the bolts,, just shims,,, but this would mean 11mm less grip on the nut,,,

would purchase steel nuts as I think the alloy ones would be too soft....

just looking for others comments,,

also interested in the answer as to how far normal nuts can go... although I only thought it was a few mm's...7mm max IIRC but these are only really wheel shims I think

as for 10mm + you do need long bolts
