Wheeler Dealers Tonight - Spoilers inside

Its been advertised for a few weeks now David, if you watch the usual batch of Discovery channels, making quite a big thing about the new series, should be good [:D]

Sky Home and Leisure Channel 240  9.00pm features the 944 Turbo get your sky boxes revved up.

Edited by Paul Smith to point out possible spoilers for those that haven't watched yet [:D]

Cheers Jim I nearly forgot about this [8|] Watching it now - up to the first break it's not been a bad programme at all [:D]

Am I missing something!! If that turbo is as pucker as Mike Brewer was making out at Ă‚ÂŁ2800 its a flippin steal and I'm sure they could make more profit turning out a nice polished road car, didn't I read somewhere that Paul said it wasn't the car it appeared to be [&:]!!

I've edited the title to point out possible spoilers for those that haven't watched it yet. Methinks there will be a fair bit of discussion on this one [;)]

Over on Pistonheads there is a thread running on this. One of the guys was at Silverstone the day they were filming, reckons the car was very smokey. Still it's a good price at Ă‚ÂŁ2800!!!

Smokin like a smokin thing on the track ! bet the sills were not too clever also, enjoyed though and will watch again as i have recorded it, D90,s "Porsche Racing Wheels " WTF[&:]

Its got to be the worst edition yet!!! Usually they get a tired old car and make it shiney and good for years to come, give them a decent motor to start with and they bloody ruin it [] Porsche racing orange!!! What is all that about? The funniest thing was the misses going nuts [:D] she loves our (mine) 944 and as its the same colour (titanium metallic) she was shouting at the screen "they've just ruined our car" [:D][:D] But really what a shame, another example of this ever rarer model spoiled!!

Nick, My missus would rather see them take a 9" angle grinder to mine if the truth be known and would not shed one jot ! But that will never happen...................period ! Agree with what you have said for what was spent i am pretty sure it would have made a nice road car considering no labour charges would have been incurred. Wish i had a missus that appreciated cars. Vauxhall Family thing if it was up to her,but she knows not to even mention it ! [:D]

[:D][:D] Frenchy, just read your posting to the misses [:D] mentioned the world Vauxhall and she had a fit [;)] bless her I am lucky I suppose..............

Watching it now on Disc H&L+1 (channel 241). Looks like a nice project and quite topical given some of the recent threads. This is a good show only ruined by that wide-boy Mike Brewer popping up like a cheap fake Rolex street seller!

Mike Brewer is clueless when it comes to specialist cars, spouts what he reads in magazines with no real experience. Ed China though is a hero !

Have you noticed how Ed China never gets a nut that won't undo, never rounds off the corners, never skins his knuckles, never starts banging things with hammers and starts shouting "You ******* ******!!" Aaarghh!! Your right he's a hero [:D]

Having a fully equipped garage with 4 poster lift and air power tools helps mind, there again the wheel nuts on that car will now be shagged after attacking them with a windy gun []
