Hi All,
Has the Wheeler Dealer programme on the boxster been on TV yet? Just wondering if I've missed it.

Regards,

Yes

it was on this morning - early hours

Yes £1000 for a boxter - and a healthy profit at £6300

Bet the guy who bought it was gutted when he saw the program and the chap who sold it too as the auto box was playing up and all Big Old Ed did was change the filter and oil - what a bummer.

OOOups - is the new owner on here???

Happy days

Not sure but the seller was a member of a forum I use "BoXa.net" don't think we have heard from him since the programme aired.

The starting price did seem a little too good to be true but I have seen similar occurrences before (including myself).

Sometimes the amount of problems a car throws at you is unreal. I know of a bloke who sold a Dolomite Sprint for a fraction of what it owed him during his 18 month spell (and cost him £5k in repairs alone! (From what I can tell, the repairs were not the best, and he had clearly done the rounds with classic car specialists... (Why does this sound familiar?)).

To think I helped sell an S engine for a friend a year or 2 ago for £1k...
