Wheels - controversial question

If I didn't want to use my pristine speedlines would it be rude to put hollow spoke turbo twists on a 993RS occasionally??

Even worse what about Manthey MM1 which I have anyway as they go on the GT3 - weigh nothing and look great but modern.

fwiw Steve at Jaz has a set of wheels just powder coated look like new, exactly like silver 7 uses .........................think he wants abt £650 [ i even know where they came from] they look good on Julian rs at Oulton.........................also they are extremely light

I use carrera 02 wheels (BBS made for Porsche),,,,far lighter than sSpeedlines and being one piece are maintenace free, Speedlines are stored.

One good thing about using non RS Speedline wheels is that Porsche Enthusiasts are able to quickly determine the car is a replica rather than a Real RS as the wheels are wrong...always seems to amuse me! [;)]

I use the carrera O2 5 spokes and can honestly say the car handles better on them as they are lighter. They are the correct offset too
