Wheels for 997 C2S

hi can anyone help I have a 997 C2S gen1 car has gt3 bucket seats roll cage rear seats removed have front and rear gen bumpers ready to paint and fit complete with full Eurocup stainless steel exhaust,have found gt3 wheels fronts 8.5x 19 ET 53 told these will fit with standard tyres after removing 7mm spacers fitted to front already, rears are 12 x 19 ET 67 have 15mm spacers on rear already my question is with spacers removed will these clear the inside arches plus will the standard still fit on the wider rims if not what size rubber should I be fitting thanks

Given you know the current wheel offset/tyre sizes, you could use this to see what difference the changes will make.

This may provide some indication of likely clearance issues.

(Spacers reduce offset so that an ET55 wheel with a 7mm spacer is effectively ET48)

Righto - for a start, at the Front: You might need to retain the 7mm spacer or use a 5mm at the least, as a standard factory 19" rim for a Carrera 2 / 2S is either ET57 or ET55. The rubber is the same regardless at 235/35/19 so you could try a test fit at minimal cost to ensure that it won't foul the arch or liners when on full lock.

Rear: ET67 is the correct offset for a standard car however, the 19" factory wheels for these models are 11" wide with an ET67 offset. The exception being the 11.5" 'Carrera Sport' wheels which are the same ET67, but have a 5mm spacer built-in to account for the additional 1/2".
Given that your wheels are the full 12" I'd say you would need a spacer to offset this, but 15mm may be too much when you account for the larger 305/30/19 rubber required by the rim width, so a reduction to 10mm might be better.
