Folks,
As part of the 15 year celebration, in conjunction with our esteemed reg. sec. and others I'm putting together what should be a useful little document. As part of that, and because it's something that appears on this forum again and again I want to put together a list of wheels and tyres currently in use on the 964RS & derivitives.
So if everybody could supply the following details (as per the example) t'would be great. It will be published - but no names will be mentioned!
Wheel Type Size Offset Spacers Tyre Type Size
Front
Cup 1 Mags 7.5x17 47 - Pirelli Rosso 205/50
Rear
Cup 1 Mags 9x17 55 18mm Pirelli Rosso 255/40
Please, don't be shy let me know what your running.
Mel, if you could nail this post to the top of the forum that would be useful.
Thanks
Tony

Unfortunately I forgot to take the detail before I got them refurbed.

I know that the 10's off a Turbo II will fit but you'll need big spacers.

Do you know the offsets for the speedlines guys?

Tony

For the 964 cup '92 speedlines they are;

front 8 x 18 Et = 52, part no 965.362.136.00
(same size as 965T & 993RS, diff centre to 993 version).

Rear, 9.5 x 18 Et = 47, part no 965.362.138.05

(Different rear ET to 965T & 993RS)

Sorry for lack of detail, I am better with 993 versions [;)]

Hi Tony,
I'm running standard Magnesium RS Cup 1s with Yokohama A008-P205/50ZR17 Front, 255/40ZR17 Rear.
cheers,
Richard

Hi Tony,
On the car at the moment are standard Magnesium RS Cup 1s with Yokohama A008-P205/50ZR17 Front, 255/40ZR17 Rear.

Have ordered a set of Cup 1 alloys with Toyo 888 205/50 ZR 17 Front and 255/40ZR 17 Rear to preserve the mags. (Des's advice)

Nick

Since all the wheels are off, high time I added to this!!

I've also got a set of standard 7+9x17ET55 Cup 1s - haven't tried putting them on this car yet. Will the rears be OK with the spacers (needed because of the long studs)?

They came with the car Tony, but clearance on the rears to wheel arch cigarette paper thin on slicks!!

Should be OK, prob is if you have capped lightweight nuts (oooh, matron...[;)]) instead of open steel -the long studs will punch thru the tops without spacers.
