Guess you know already anyway but do make sure any Cups are the right offsets for the 968. My setup as below;
Original Wheels (CS Cup 2 - 1994): Front - 7½J x 17" | wheel offset 65 | tyres - 225/45 ZR 17 (Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 | Manuf: 1817) Rear - 9J x 17" | wheel offset 55 | tyres - 255/40 ZR 17 (Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 | Manuf: 2417) Had my originals refurb'd in anthracite - love 'em Hope this helps

If you run 8" et 70, which is a 993 winter rear wheel, then you'd need spacers to bring the tracking to something like and also to swap the studs for longer ones (or have bolted spacers). You could use standard Porches rear spacers - 17mm with the longer studs, which would give et53.
Genuine Porsche wheels shold have the offset and rim width cast each side of the valve hole, there's a lot of reps about - usually et 52, 47 if meant for a 968.
Once you've joined 968uk message me (andys) and we'll see if i've got what you're after, or to make up a set.
