Wheels, wheels and wheels!!

Looking for some different 18" wheels for my mothers series 1 boxster 3.2S.

Currently has Sport Classic II with 7.5" fronts and ofset of 50 and 9" rears with ofset of 52.

So my question is:-

what is maximum wheel size you can fit on front and rear and what is maximum ofset you can go to front and rear also?

Anyone know?

I think this may be a question for the guys over on http://www.ppbb.com/phorum/index.php

The Americans do love to shove big wheels on their Boxsters, someone there is bound to know.

Would agree with Mark and try Renntech too.

There are certainly some US guys running 285 rear tyres without issue. Quite a few people fit 235/40/18 fronts too, 10mm wider than the norm

I personally wouldn't deviate too much from the Porsche recommendations - there is a TSB to tie back the brake line when fitting 18" Porsche wheels at the rear, so there isn't much scope against suspension componentry. Bear in mind you can fit 5mm spacers from Porsche so you can go down to ET47 front and ET45 rear without any arch rim rubbing. Stick to premium branded wheels like BBS if you go aftermarket as they will have thought out the fitment thoroughly !!
