I have a 1990 964 Carrera 4 that is currently running on 7J and 9J wheels both 55 offset. Is it ok to fit Cup 1 style 7.5J and 9J with 52 offset.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve.

Kev,

These wheels are off of a 968 - the front ET of 65 is a dead give away. They'll fit the 964 but you'll need something lime 12-15mm spacers for the fronts. The rears will likely be OK.

Regards

Dave

spacer is ok to run but they are quite expensive.

Personally I would still prefer to find a pair of et55 fronts although they are sometimes hard to get hold of.

I recently bought a pair of fronts on their own and then found a pair of rears to make up the set (genuine porsche wheels).I did contact Jasmine Porsche in my search and they had a couple of options at the time but they were not cheap.

I do have a pair of cup 1 replica wheels ET52 which have been refurbed 7.5 wide so perfect for the 225 tyre. I might sell if you need a pair.

Would these be OK ?

They will fit perfectly. Those offsets are what the mille miglia cup 1 replicas come with (in case you didn't know).
