When do i Service?

Guest

Hi Guys.

I bought my boxster last year - it had only done 11k and because the owner did so little mileage - it was serviced my Porsche every 12 months every year. It was last done at 11500k. Since then i have bought it and i drive it more (everyday car) It is now on 17k.

When do i get it serviced 20k? and what would it need? does nayone know of any costs that i could expect?

many thanks

Hi Sam, I agree with Paul - you need to follow service schedules quite closely and do the service on months rather than on miles as your car has such low miles (but not sure how old it is). I am in a similar situation. Have just had a 4yr/48k service done @ 17k miles. Stung a bit when handing over the credit card but essential when you come to sell with FPSH intact (I've just put mine on the 'members for sale' page today). But on the upside, it's a small price to pay when the weather hots up and the roof comes down!
Enjoy. Darren

Buy your own oil 9 litres Mobil 1, ensure the washer is topped up and point out the low mileage when booking it in and you should get a more reasonable price from the OPC.
