When Hockenheim was a mans track...

Thanks for sharing, Rick!

Yes, Hockenheim is a track to remember. Although the 500 ccm GP bikes were most impressive there - no chicane before the Ostkurve and spectacular slipstreaming.

Clubsport was fun, too. Very easy to overshoot the chicanes - and horrible in the rain, zero visibilty with spray between the trees.

Commentating is done by Rainer Braun, some of you might have heard of him. Of course, he´s not in the Murray Walker league.

Rgds,

Hacki

Thanx for posting Rick!
Last race of the '93 season. Whoever won this, Alzen or Heger, would win the championship....

Love Alzen punting Heger gently thru the chicane and getting a fist shaken at him...and as the man says, clearly the black bit was strictly optional!

Where are you Chris? Are you abroad right now?

I'd guess you've seen it before - its pretty impressive.

Chris I know of your pain. I had a poor internet connection and suffered before finding a company that did a sort of wireless internet connection. I now get 10M download speeds so all is well. Worth looking into if your in a BT poor spot at the end of the exchange.

Thanks Melv, Laurence and Hugh [;)]

I've even started to look at 3G dongles ... in wildest North Yorkshire !

I found 3g coverage not good where we are. The company i used is called Vfast. Dont know if it has a presence in Yorkshire though?
