When is an RS not an RS?

My 993 is '96 C4, however whilst I was on the Euro Car Parts website I entered the registration number (to save typing in all the car info) and up popped - 911 RS, 3744cc, engine M64.20 and manufactured in '95! I've just had a look at the registration document and that says 911 RS, 3600cc and registered '96. So it would appear that my 993 is having an identity crisis! Just wondered if anyone else has seen the same problem or should we all just be visiting the Euro Car Parts website for free upgrades from standard to RS?

I suspect the ECP site uses data from the DVLA to identify your vehicle. So I would take it up with the DVLA as it seems they have your car incorrectly registered!
 
Perhaps your car is a replica - someone's buying up RS cars, adding front wheel drive, replacing that RS badge with a smart "4", and selling on[:D]
