Where have all the 3.2 Carreras gone?

Just sold my Targa as I was using it daily and found the noise too much in the end?

Desperate to find a nice '88 or '89 coupe with nice miles and in superb nick but they seem to be like rocking horse sh**t at the moment - anybody know of anything?

That 300SL Merc for 10k looks rather nice as well. Anyone need a really good Mothers Day gift???

Thanks for the help Shirish - I'll see how it pans out on the phone.

Richard - I'm driving my dad's 500SL at the moment - great in a straight line but like a bus compared to the 911 when the bends arrive. Maybe in 20 years time!

I've just done a deal to chop my '88 3.2 in at Eporsch for a 964. The 3.2 is a black coupe sport with grey leather, 81500 miles, full history, all MOTs bar one, binder with receipts for 7/8 years. Car has sunroof, air con (disconnected), cd changer, rear belts. Fuchs allows in good conditon. No rust (that I've found).

Recent work: injectors cleaned, K&N filter, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings, rear tyres (Kumohs), front discs & pads, fuel filter, rear brake shoes, MOT re-test on Tuesday.

Needed this year, I reckon: 12000 service, front tyres, front CV joint (rumbles a bit on full lock but not MOT failure, obviously). Couple of the rubberised oil pipes in the engine bay are looking a bit perished - probably sensible to do them with the service. One motor in the driver's seat is inop - the back left - haven't had it checked so could just be a connection, or could not...

It's going to Eporsch on Wednesday morning, so if you want to do anything before then, e-mail me on martin@perry01.plus.com, or martin@westofenglandestates.co.uk with a number and I'll give you a call.

Cheers

Martin

Thanks Marc, but I really wanted a G50 model.

I am actually buying Martin's car - saw it on Saturday and it's a really nice car.
