Discs can be skimmed down to the Porsche spec min thickness, I will check that in the morning.
Dampers: no option but to fit new inserts (front) items (rear)
Caliper kits from various sorces, Mark (911UK) has the tool to get the old pistons out.

Front disc and rear Poss Design 911 or Germany
Rear shocks German and sweedish and the front if not euro car parts
Front and rear pads I got from my local car shack Also the pad pins as well

My shocks were £40+vat each boge

Mark, you are right, Porsche list is £139, Bert sells them (probably not genuine Porsche ) for £40. The rear dampers I quoted are Konis

Miggs I have yet to 100% check out the rears for the year.

I am hopeing the car was built 68 and sold 69 if that is the case I have 68 rear discs phew!!!! but if they are 69 [][][]

When I find out what the difference is I will let you know

Mark

Nick I know 1 year difference and it' s ££££ ouch... The koni are the best so I have been told but the boge are good so I have been told I have a NOS set of rear adjustable very lucky on them £40 and I know they are new never fitted and the front £40+vat each from G&S and they are boge I will have to fit them soon bounce bounce!!!! at the mo..

Miggs if we both do have 69 disc' s lets see if we can sort out a deal with some one will have to be later as I need to get money togeather for a few things at the mo.(bl*&^Y women )

Mark

Miggs Nick is right the disc have a tolarance thickness it is listed in most books you may be way off the mark at the mo. and have nothing to worry about I only skimmed the discs as I had the faclities to do so and they made the brake rebuild as good as new 75% efficency ALL round so very pleased.

Yes I have the tool for the Calipers you will need a porta pack to pump out the calipers Alex as it at the mo .. if you need it give him a call and send him a Jiffy SAE then send it back to me or hang on to it untill AJP.

All the best

Mark
