Sorry but I don't understand the question???? [&:]

You are asking where a relay is yet you state you have to keep unplugging it (so must know where it is?)

I am guessing you are talking about the radiator fans running all the time. This is normally caused by a failure of the temperature sensor at the bottom of the radiator. This makes the system think the coolant is always hot so runs the fan to cool it (until your battery flattens [&o])

well i know one relay is in the engine bay that runs the blowers. according to the guide theres another relay that called "blower shutoff relay" thats inside that car. at first i thought it could be that thats causing the blowers to stay on. also gona take in consideration that it might be the temperature sensor now you suggested that.

anything else that could be causing it?

I'm confused, might be Clark's use of "American" English...

Blower would suggest de-misting and heater fan, I'm assuming you mean the radiator fans? As Paul has suggested, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be the temp sensor as that's the most common fault. The relay does, as you've found, stop the fans but it's uncommon for it to be this that's at fault.

If you're coming to any of the events over the next couple of months then I'm sure plenty of people will swap relays to test it.

ok, to explain, without the key being in the ignition, i can turn the heater controls to 4 and it works. which im pretty sure its not suppose to? its the reason why its killing my battery. i have to unplug one of the relays out of the fuse box in the engine bay.

hopefully now everyone can understand what i mean :p LoL

heater fans... unless it could be both?

ok picture this, sitting in the car now, heater controls, its set to 0 without the key in, if i turn the controls to 4, the fans in the car start to blow air.

OK, that's the heater fan, nothing to do with the cooling fans. They are the most common fault on a 944, staying on and draining the battery, so thats why we assumed you meant them!

Does the heater fan work on 1, 2, & 3, with the ignition on? Common fault is the resistor pack under the plastic shield over the heater unit, when it fails the heater only runs on 0 or 4. Why it'd run with the ignition off is another problem, though.
