where to change clutch ?

Seems unfortunatly that I need to replace my clutch, few questions :

My car is a 911/996 twin turbo 2001

- can I upgrade the clutch to something stronger ? my car is a NON X50, I believe that the X50 had a stronger clutch plate ( read it everywhere ), is it ok to put the X50 clutch on a non X50 car ? Anyone done it ?

- any other items that I should have a look at to replace ? flywheel, etc ? since the gearbox is going to be out, what I need to ask to check as well ?

- difference between indy and OPC to do this ? apart from the very obvious finantial one ?

- any recommendation on the indys ? anyone replaced clutch recently ? again, my car is a turbo

- what costs am I looking at here ? 1000 ? ish ?

opc will tell you the engine has to come out and charge you something like 12 hours whereas an indy will or should know these boxes come out without having to remove engine.. that is where you should be able to save money...

chances are an indy will treat you like a person and not just another customer and look after your pride and joy...

indy recommendations depend on where you are in country

and i'm sure someone will come along and advise you on the x50 question... i've always changed them like for like...
