where to find body repair panels

I've mentioned in other posts (I think) that my car was due to have some body work done. Having taken the car in to the body shop I have used for some time, who is good with older cars, yesterday, he has finished the structural welding that he was asked to do (replace door lock panel with new sections, reinforce jacking point). So far so good. But, [X(]he has rightly poionted out an area of structural chassis rust damage and having removed the outer sill to get at the jacking point he has found that the lower front part of the rear wing has corroded. It won't show when the outer sill is back on but in due course will deteriorate further. So I want a repair section for that area.

Pelican refer to one (rear fender repair section) but only seem to show it as suitable for a Turbo Carrera. Watson Autoparts who I have often used may well do something similar.

Question is whether the Pelican part will fit ie is the Turbo Carrera spec suitable for an SC?

I'm just sharing my troubles really but any sympathy, ideas etc will be interesting.

sib 8292 Just had a similar repair done to my SC I found a solid part of the old sill and cut it to length to fill in the missing part of the wing as it is the same profile as the wing. The repair shop then had to weld a small patch in to fill the gap between the repair and the solid part of the wing. They then had to respray the whole rear quarter and sill area. I will post some pictures when I have down loaded them from the camera. Another big wad of money into the Porsche bottomless pit but looks good now. Baz
