Where to hardwire a speed detector

I want to instal an Origin B2 in my 2002 996. Where have people installed theirs and how did you hardwire it?

Thanks

This might not be too elegant, but it works for me. The bracket is stuck to the top of the black dash surround with double-sided tape. I then got a couple of short lengths of black document binder spine, and slipped them under the dash trim and over the bracket. I wired it into the feed for the radio, so that it stays on until you pull the ignition key out.

Stupid forum software - why can't we have more than one picture per post?

The laser detector and GPS receiver are on the left hand side of the dash.

Had mine fitted by a car audio firm in Bishops Stortford, I have the cradle to the far right of the dash, they put the laser detector to the right of the rear view mirror and the GPS is hidden under the dash. They've also done my previous 993 and my Audi Avant. I think they charged £60 plus Vat to fit.
