Where to look for 944? (LHD)

Dear colleagues,

Could you please advice my where to look for LHD 944 in central England?

I am checking ebay, pistonheads from time to time, but without results. My budget is quite small, under 1000 pounds, but I believe in left-hand-drive bargain.

You'll be lucky. Sounds like you're already looking in all the right places. I could only find one on Autotrader and it was a 3k auto, 100miles from Birmingham so not really a bargain.

Ye it seems more difficult that I thought.

Although it is in right colour, the price is killing me and what's more automatic gearbox...

The main car purpose is going to be classic car amateur races in Europe.

How about German Ebay? Okay, not in central England but there are plenty of LHD 944s there and it isn't that difficult to import one by all accounts.

It's slight above my budget, however it is still good idea.

On the other side, I planed to use this 944 as a vehicle for transportation reasons when I am going to leave UK in the beginning of October. At this point, I would love to purchase car with GB pounds, instead of Euro due to unfavourable currency rate.
