Where's the PM?

No not Cameron (he's in 10 Downing Street, unlike Corbyn who will never be either PM nor in 10 Downing Street unless there is some kind of tear in the quantum continuum), I'm referring to the Personal Message system. I was sent a couple of PM's yesterday by Waylander (thanks Martin!) and, while I can see them from the link in the eMail which was sent to notify me, I can't see any kind of link to my PM inbox on the forum.

If someone could tell me where to look, or post up a nice big fat screenshot with it highlighted in bubblegum pink (or similar) then I'd be most grateful. (The fact that I am fick has been remarked on before, so please don't bother to point it out again. [:)])

Thanks!

Oli.

There you go. It takes someone clever like Dave to help me out.

Thanks Dave. Exactly what I was looking for. I feel more remedial than ever. [:(]

It's simpler than that even. Hover the mouse over the user name and a box opens - one option is "Send a Private Message".

Well yes, obviously, I mean even a thickie like me knows that! The problem which required the immense intellect and unfathomable brilliance of Dave to solve was how to read your PM's, not how to send them to other people!

(The next stage is to find out how to read everyone else's PM's, without becoming a moderator. Anyone got any ideas?)

Oli.

Just sent myself a PM to remind me to read the OP properly before replying...............[:)] And if mods or Admin could read all PMs.......[:'(][:)]

Good lad - that's the spirit! [:)]

However you may struggle to find your PM box when you need to read it. Someone had some instructions somewhere but I can't remember quite where .... maybe you could try starting a thread about it?

Oli.

Long time since I've been called a lad.[:(] Yeah, I have that short term mem.....what were we talking about...? PMQs...?

You have no idea how many times I was sat looking at the box for changing my signature instead of my PM inbox though before I worked it out.
